Supplies I used to create this airplane nursery décor:
- Custom Nursery Sign from Twin Knobs Woodworks
- Rustic Red Dixie Belle Chalk Paint
- Wharf All-In-One Mineral Paint
- Whitecap All-In-One Mineral Paint
- Tobacco Road Voodoo Gel Stain
- Makeup Sponges
- Acrylic Paint Brush Set
- Instant Adhesive
I started this project by using a makeup sponge and the color Rustic Red to paint the propellers for each plane.
Next I painted the letters with Tobacco Road Voodoo Gel.
Then, I used the color Wharf to paint the outline of each letter and the airplane bodies.
I then used a small paint brush to add white and black details to each plane.
Now it was time to start gluing everything together.
Look at how super cute those details are!
Finally, it was time to add the frame.
I painted it with Tobacco Road Voodoo Gel and then glued and tacked it in place.
This is the finished product!
It’s going to be the perfect addition to a fun little guys bedroom!
