Supplies you’ll need to create this adorable set of double-sided bird cutouts:
- Bird Cutouts (2 pack)
- Bird Cutout Patterns Chalk Couture Transfer
- Couture Coral Chalkology Paste
- Raspberry Sorbet Chalkology Paste
- Squeegee
- Transfer Trimmers
Working with Chalk Couture makes projects super easy because they offer everything you need to create a beautiful finished product.
To begin, gather the Bird Cutouts, Bird Cutouts Transfer and Chalkology Paste.
Next, use your transfer trimmers to cut the transfer making it easier to work with. When cutting the transfer, be sure to cut along the provided lines.
Now it’s time to add the Chalkology Paste.
When using Chalk Couture, you’ll want to follow these simple steps:
- Apply the transfer to the surface of your project.
- Add a bit of Chalkology Paste to your squeegee.
- Apply a thin even layer of Chalkology Paste on the transfer.
- Remove the transfer to reveal the finished look.
For my Bird Cutouts I used the colors Couture Coral and Raspberry Sorbet. Feel free to use paste colors that fit your décor the best.
You can see that I started by adding the floral themed transfer to one side of each Bird Cutout.
Then, I added a layer of paste to each wing.
Once everything is dry, use adhesive tabs to attach the wings to each bird.
Be sure to also flip them over and use the other transfers on the back!
Here’s the finished look. I think this sweet and simple set is just perfect for Spring!
