- Round Wood Cut-Out – I get all of my wood cut-outs from Build-a-Cross. Use Code RUSTIC30 to get 30% OFF your entire order!!
- Paint Brush
- Caviar Dixie Belle Chalk Paint
- Holiday Joy Chalk Couture Transfer
- Shimmer Red Chalkology Paste
- Bright White Chalkology Paste
- Small Squeegee
- Glitter Clear Sealer
Let’s begin creating our holiday decor!!
To get this project going, I used Dixie Belle Chalk Paint in the color Caviar to base coat the entire wood cut-out.
Be sure to cover the entire surface, including the edges to give your piece a professionally finished look. Let dry.
Next, I centered and applied the Holiday Joy Transfer onto my painted surface.
To fill in the leaves on my transfer, I used Bright White Chalkology Paste.
You’ll want to add an even layer of the paste and wipe back any excess as you go.
Next, I used Red Shimmer Chalkology Paste to fill in the word “joy”.
I also used the Red Shimmer Paste for the berries. Once you have applied paste to the entire transfer, promptly remove it and reveal your finished product.
Wasn’t that super easy!?! Two paste colors, one transfer & a surface – it’s all you need to create adorable decor for your home & for gifts this holiday season!! Want more fun and easy DIY home decor ideas?? Find me on Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest!
