Chalk Couture Supplies I used to create my rooster t-shirt:
You will also need a blank t-shirt, an iron & something to create a barrier between the ink and your iron while heat setting the design. Parchment paper works perfectly for that. Now that you know what you’ll need, let’s get started!!
Begin by placing your transfer on your surface.
Next, start adding the ink to your transfer. Apply a thin layer all over the design.
Once everything is covered, scrape back any excess ink and add it back to the container.
Now you can remove the transfer to reveal your design. Once the ink is dry, you will need to use your iron to heat set the design. Do this on both sides of the t-shirt on med-high heat for 3 minutes. Be sure to put a piece of parchment paper between the ink and your iron before heat setting.
Isn’t the finished product super cute! This would be great for Chalk Couture Make & Take Parties, to re-sell at vendor markets or to give as a gift!!

To create this adorable Halloween T-Shirt, I used the same steps as I did for the Rooster T-Shirt above! If you’d like to re-create this design you will need the Spine Chilling Transfer and Chalkology Ink in the color Bright White. Super simple & so cute!!

How does it feel, I don’t like to vinyl feeling in shirts?
Hi Gwen,
It is actually ink so it is quite soft compared to vinyl and not at all hot and sticky like vinyl can feel. We love it on shirts for that reason.
