When you receive the Pumpkin Shelf Sitter kit, you’ll first need to separate the pieces and decide what colors you’ll be using to paint everything.
I began by adding a layer of Tobacco Road Voodoo Gel to the base of the pumpkins.
Then, I used a makeup sponge and the color Caviar to paint the birds.
I also used the color Colonel Mustard to give each bird a yellow beak.
Next, I used the same yellow paint and makeup sponge to paint the flowers.
Next up, I used the color Chocolate for the center grid portion of each flower.
Since the middle portion of the flowers have an open grid pattern, I added a layer of Caviar on the circles of each flower.
For the leaves, I used the color Kudzu.
Next, I painted the smaller pumpkin with the color Fluff.
To add some interest, I mixed the colors Fluff and Chocolate to create a tan-ish color to highlight the smaller pumpkin.
Then, I painted the stem with Chocolate and the leaf with Kudzu.
The larger pumpkin was painted with the color Terracotta.
I also added some highlights to this pumpkin using the color Rusty Nail.
Finally, the orange pumpkin also got a Chocolate stem and Kudzu leaf.
Once all of your pieces are painted and dry, it’s time to assemble.
I used Starbond Medium Instant Adhesive to glue the pieces together.
With its captivating 3D design, this shelf sitter kit promises to be an exceptional addition to your home décor.
